On Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 10:04am a general alarm was sounded for a reported car fire at Crunch Fitness, 571 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave. First arriving officers and Engine 5 located a engine compartment fire with no exposures. Engine 5 stretched a line and began working the fire. The fire was knocked down without incident. No injuries were reported during the incident.
