Mutual Aid – 3rd Alarm
61 High St
Orange, NJ
Time: 10:45pm

On a hot and humid evening in July the Livingston Fire Department was requested into the City of Orange for mutual aid house coverage while multiple companies operated at the scene of a 3rd Alarm fire.

Eventually due to the weather and the extent of the fire Livingston Engine 6 was requested to the scene where the members began operations. Firefighters began with roof operations, but were evacuated after a short time due to conditions detorating. The crew then regrouped at the front of the structure until command requested them to take an interior line over to relieve those companies that had been operating for an extended time.

There were no reports of injuries from all companies including Livingston during operations.
