On Thursday evening April 2, 2025 the Livingston volunteer fire department was dispatched to the Bottle King at 343 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave on a report of a vehicle into the building with possible entrapment. Upon arrival of the chief it was reported the occupant was out of the vehicle. Due to the damage and vehicle into the structure Engine 2 was requested to continue in while Rescue Co. 1 was returned. No injuries were reported, although the building did suffer damage to exterior windows from the vehicle. The building department was notified and the fire department cleared after the vehicle was removed by a local towing company.
