On Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 11am the Livingston Fire Department was dispatched to Crunch Fitness at 585 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave for a report of a vehicle into the building. 

Upon arrival Asst Chief Francione located the vehicle through the structure into the lobby and a person in the vehicle and upgraded to an entrapment. 

The occupant was not pinned, however unable to exit the vehicle safely on their own. Firefighters set up a ladder bridge to reach the driver and assist them away from the vehicle. 

Firefighters were on stand-by until Livingston Collision removed the vehicle from the structure. Due to the extensive damage the facility was closed to make repairs.
