Members of the Livingston Fire Department always enjoy a training opportunity in a regular structure. Graciously many homes and the occasional commercial property are made available to us before demolition. This allows firefighters to train in different types of structures and perform different types of operations to be better prepared when an emergency arises in our community.
On a Tuesday evening in July, the volunteers of the fire department met at the old Margarita's Restaurant before demolition to work on roof ventilation.
Other drills performed on this location were search and rescue and hose line advancement.
